Jim brings a broad real estate background to LeylandAlliance, and has a particular strength in structuring and arranging project financing. During his career, Jim has worked mostly in the commercial sector of the mortgage business, financing more than a billion dollars of loans over the years. 

 

Jim started James R. Poole & Co in 1975, in northern New Jersey. In 2004, he sold the business to NorthMarq Capital, and began serving as a consultant.

 

Jim has also been a principal in several real estate ventures during his career, identifying property, constructing new buildings, leasing, and managing the assets.

 

Jim is a graduate of Fairfield University, and has served on its Board of Trustees. Jim also has an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University, with a concentration in Economics and Finance.
