Howard’s role at LeylandAlliance is multi-faceted, focusing on the planning and structuring of projects. He has negotiated innovative public-private transactions for several of Leyland’s projects, and led successful efforts to obtain federal and state grants, and municipal financing for public infrastructure associated with Leyland’s projects.

Before joining LeylandAlliance, Howard was chair of the Real Estate Practice Group in the New York City office of Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP, the international law firm. He also served as co-chair of the Real Property Law Section of the New York County Lawyer's Association.

Howard is an active volunteer for a number of non-profits. He has served as board member of The Community School, serving learning disabled students throughout the New York City metropolitan area. He is also a former board member of Mid-Hudson Pattern for Progress, and served as General Counsel and board member for the National Town Builders' Association.
Howard graduated with honors from Queens College in 1973, and from Harvard Law School in 1979.
Jason's focus at LeylandAlliance is on the acquisition and development of retail and mixed-use projects.
In addition to being a Principal at LeylandAlliance, Jason is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Pennsylvania, as well as a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania and Maryland. Jason has spent his career specializing in acquisition, development, leasing and management of grocery-anchored centers located in the Northeastern and Mid Atlantic United States.
Jason, is an active Board Member of Barrack Hebrew Academy in Bryn Mawr, PA, and has spent many years coaching girls lacrosse and soccer.
Jason graduated from the University of Maryland in 1992, Magna Cum Laude, with a B.A. in Government and Politics and received his J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1995.
